Starting January 9, 2012, the Battle Creek Tabernacle will offer Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Make it your New Year’s Resolution to attend!

Financial Peace University takes Biblical principles and turns them into real action in our lives through a step-by-step process taught by best-selling author and financial counselor Dave Ramsey. It is designed to teach you and your family how to get out of debt, stay out of debt, and build wealth. You will meet with your class each week to watch the video lesson and participate in discussion groups that will change your whole attitude about money. Classes will be facilitated by Chris VanderWaal and Robin Steely.

Dave breaks through the common financial jargon and explains how money really works in a simple, easy-to-understand style. You’ll actually have fun as you learn about saving, budgeting, investing, insurance and more.

During this life-changing course, you will learn:

· To put together a monthly spending plan that really works!

· The step-by-step process for getting out of debt for good!

· How to set financial goals and really communicate about money.

· What insurance to buy…and what to avoid.

· How to plan for your retirement.

· How to make the right investment choices.

· How to utilize a good money plan to strengthen your marriage.

· How to unlock the power of giving to change your community.

When does the class start?

Class will begin Monday January 9, 2012 at 6:30pm to 8:30pm in the seminar room at the Tabernacle. Class will run each Monday at 6:30 – 8:30 for 13 weeks. Hurry to enroll. We have secured special FBU lifetime membership kit pricing for the first 13 families who sign up!
